ConnetU has a new name: Enlink Networks. This isn’t a takeover. We have the same owners and the same team, and we’re keeping the same commitment to the businesses we serve. The only thing that has changed is the name.
I’ll own this one: ConnetU was my idea.
When I started the business in 2010, I was an engineer with a handful of servers and a lot of enthusiasm. Naming it felt like a five-minute job. “Connect”, “Net” and “You”, all smashed together as so many companies did in the dotcom days.
It looked good on a whiteboard, but it didn’t sound so great on the phone. For years I’ve spelt it out letter by letter, corrected “Connect-You” and “Connect-U” (among others) and watched people’s faces as I explained that the missing “c” was deliberate. When a company name needs a user manual, something’s definitely gone wrong.
I’m very good at making things connect, but ConnetU was a good lesson in “never let an engineer name something!”
We’ve grown a lot since those early days. We started with just a small colocation business, and today we run our own fibre network across London, serving small and medium businesses here and further afield with cutting-edge connectivity and first-class customer service.
It was time for a name that did the business justice. This time, I wasn’t allowed to pick it on my own.
enlink (v.)
To bring together or connect things, as if by a chain.
Our mission has always been to link people, places and things together, so Enlink felt like the perfect name for what we do. In 2026, we finally made the change.
ConnetU is now Enlink Networks (informally, just Enlink)
Nothing changes for our customers. You’ll keep the same:
ConnetU customers will start to see the Enlink Networks name and branding on invoices, emails and paperwork. Our new home online is en.link (but enlink.co.uk works, as does nlink.co.uk – just in case!).
Thank you to everyone who has supported us as ConnetU, and especially to everyone who learned to spell it. We have the same team, the same network and the same focus on keeping your business connected, now under a name that says what we do.
