Landline services are changing to fully digital in the UK

From Spring 2025 through to December 2027, the traditional the analogue copper wire phone network (also known as Public Switch Telephone Network - or PSTN) is being retired. If you currently use landlines in your business, you'll be affected by the change. 

Our Digital Voice service is a direct replacement for these older lines, and uses a technology called VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) which allows voice, as well as video and multimedia, to be transmitted over the Internet.
